چکیده
Whole genome sequence in mango offers unprecedented opportunities for genomics assisted crop improvement via enabling access to genome-wide genetic markers. In the present study, simple repeats (SSRs) were predicted from of mango. Based on SSR length (? 50 bp), highly-variable SSRs (MSSRs) sorted. A sub-set 129 MSSRs was validated a set 24 diverse genotypes yielding marker validation and polymorphism 88.96 85.27 per cent, respectively. One hundred ten polymorphic markers identified genotypes. Polymorphic information content (PIC) ranged 0.10 0.78 highest value observed with MSSR133. The mean PIC 0.40 but 33 MSSR showed values ? 0.5, suggesting that these can efficiently measure diversity serve mapping quantitative trait loci (QTLs) data further used analysis belonging different agro-ecological conditions including chance seedlings, landraces, exotic indigenous germplasm hybrids. Cluster using UPGMA revealed informative distinguished based their origin, parentage embryo types. novel 110 hyper-variable have been added repository depicting usefulness discriminating closely related use programme.

Mango (Mangifera indica L.) Lyophilization Using Vacuum-Induced Freezing
Abstract—Lyophilization, also called freeze-drying, is an important dehydration technique mainly used for pharmaceuticals. Food industry also uses lyophilization when it is important to retain most of the nutritional quality, taste, shape and size of dried products and to extend their shelf life. Vacuum-Induced during freezing cycle (VI) has been used in order to control ice nucleation and, con...
متن کاملVolatile components from mango (Mangifera indica L.) cultivars.
The volatile components of 20 mango cultivars were investigated by means of simultaneous distillation-extraction, GC, and GC-MS. Three hundred and seventy-two compounds were identified, of which 180 were found for the first time in mango fruit. The total concentration of volatiles was approximately 18-123 mg/kg of fresh fruit. Terpene hydrocarbons were the major volatiles of all cultivars, the ...
متن کاملMolecular diversity of Pakistani mango (Mangifera indica L.) varieties based on microsatellite markers.
Understanding the genetic diversity of different Pakistani mango varieties is important for germplasm management and varietal characterization. Microsatellites are efficient and highly polymorphic markers for comparative genome mapping, and were used in the present study to determine the genetic relatedness and variability among 15 indigenous mango cultivars (Mangifera indica L.). Overall, 181 ...
متن کاملExpressed Sequence Tag-Simple Sequence Repeat (EST-SSR) Marker Resources for Diversity Analysis of Mango (Mangifera indica L.)
In this study, a collection of 24,840 expressed sequence tags (ESTs) generated from five mango (Mangifera indica L.) cDNA libraries was mined for EST-based simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers. Over 1,000 ESTs with SSR motifs were detected from more than 24,000 EST sequences with diand tri-nucleotide repeat motifs the most abundant. Of these, 25 EST-SSRs in genes involved in plant development, ...
متن کاملTranscriptome Analysis of Mango (Mangifera indica L.) Fruit Epidermal Peel to Identify Putative Cuticle-Associated Genes
Mango fruit (Mangifera indica L.) are highly perishable and have a limited shelf life, due to postharvest desiccation and senescence, which limits their global distribution. Recent studies of tomato fruit suggest that these traits are influenced by the expression of genes that are associated with cuticle metabolism. However, studies of these phenomena in mango fruit are limited by the lack of g...
